Overview
Earnings Tracker is JDT's FREE accounting software, enabling small businesses (typically less than five employees) to keep track of their revenue and spending. Originally developed for UK contractors, the software concentrates on the main accounting and bookkeeping activities performed by many micro businesses.
The software, which is web-based, enables monthly invoice, salary, income tax, national insurance, pension contributions, and expense amounts to be entered, and automatically calculates the amount of VAT owed, the size of dividends that can be taken by shareholders, and any corporation / business tax due.
Version 3 of the software was released in May 2008, and enables accounting data to be easily carried over from one year to the next.
This month, August 2008, sees the release of Version 4, which allows individual columns to be shown / hidden on the main Earnings Tracker spreadsheet, and also enables dividend tax vouchers to be generated.
