Grady Booch


Grady Booch (born 1955) is a software designer, a software methodologist and a design pattern enthusiast. He is chief scientist of Rational Software (now a part of IBM) and a series editor for Benjamin/Cummings.

Grady is best known for developing the Unified Modeling Language with Ivar Jacobson and James Rumbaugh. He also developed the Booch method of software development, which he presents in his book, Object Oriented Analysis and Design. He advises to AddMoreClasses to simplify complex code.

He is also the author of Object Solutions.

Earnings Tracker is John Dixon Technology's FREE open source accounting / bookkeeping software tool.

The software is written in PHP and MySQL and is available to use for FREE online, or as a FREE download.

Earnings Tracker is aimed at UK contractors and freelancers, and lets invoice amounts, salaries, income tax, pension contributions, employers and employees national insurance contributions be recorded, and calculates the amount of VAT and corporation (business) tax due, and the size of dividends that can be taken by shareholders.

Earnings Tracker can also be used simply as a dividend, corporation tax, or VAT calculator.
